Clarence “Bud” Hanning, 76, died peacefully Oct. 19, 2013, surrounded by love in his home in Concho.
Bud served in the U.S. Air Force Special Forces Unit from 1956-60. He was a licensed general contractor in Northern California for 36 years and retired in 2000 from his position as a superintendent with Roberts-Ohbayashi Construction Company, based in Danville, Calif. Bud and his wife relocated to their ranch near Concho, where they established PBB Home Inspections in 2004.
Bud loved to golf, ride his motorcycle, spend time with his family and sit on his front porch enjoying the home he and his wife designed and built.
Bud is survived by his wife of 31 years, Margaret “Peg” Hanning; sons: Jon Hanning (Sina) of Pine Grove, Calif., James Bowen (Tammy) of Santa Rosa, Calif.; daughters: Tracy Dini (Farshid) of Jamul, Calif., Brandy Gebhardt and grandson Conner Krieger, both of Las Vegas, Nev.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at San Rafael Catholic Church, 35411 Hwy. 180A in Concho.
