Elijo Isaac Clawson, “Lijo,” went home with our heavenly Father unexpectedly Oct. 29, 2013, in Whiteriver.
He cherished family and friends and enjoyed learning to play the guitar, he liked hanging out with his brothers, sisters and best friends. Elijo connected with many people and always loved to show them what he had taught himself, including art, music, guitar, keyboard and how to speak German. He enjoyed playing the Xbox 360 with his friends and interacting on the Internet.
He will be deeply missed by all relatives and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Ardell Clawson and Irene Danford; brothers: Mitchel and Tyrone Clawson; sister-in-law Vanna Clawson; grandmothers: Costa Clawson and Christina Declay; grandfathers: Tim Clawson Sr., Randall Declay Sr., Danny Josay; aunts: Carlene Clawson, Darlene Zagatah, Ophelia Machuse, Barbara Jean Fuller; uncles: Elmo Danford, Tim Clawson Jr.; nephews: Tyrell Clawson, Nathaniel Clawson, Christopher Billy; godparents: Ernie and Judy Declay and Lucille Gloshay; biological mother: Christine A. Elijo was preceded in death by his sisters, Diarene Danford Thornes and Leanne Kristine Hawkins, grandfather Christian Altaha Sr., grandmother Sippi Nastivar, uncle Chris Duane Altaha, aunt Carol Cosay, and cousins Kearney Taylor and Darla Aday.
A wake was held Nov. 7 at 1009 S. Dark Shadows, house No. 4, in Whiteriver. Funeral services were held Nov. 8 at Canyon Day Miracle Church.
