The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, November 13, 2013 Susan Elizabeth Stump of Wickenburg died Nov. 4 in Phoenix after a long illness. Stump, 67, was born May 5, 1946 in Noble County, Ind. She had lived in Arizona for 17 years. Her survivors include sisters Judy L. Wolf and Sarah Sally Strong; sons Michael J. Stump and Samuel S. Joseph Stump; daughter Jena Flavell; daughter-in-law Brenda Stump; son-in-law Ed Flavell; grandsons Johnathon Stump, Christopher Efaw, Kyle O. Koenig, Billy A. Wooden, Ronnie J. Flavell; granddaughter Sarah E. Lemmon; several nieces and nephews; and wonderful family and cherished friends. She was preceded in death by brother Thomas J. Stump, sister Debra Christian, father Lewis Stump, and mother Betty Jean Palmer-Kaufman. She was a loving mother, loved to prospect for gold and was an avid rock collector and a caring grandmother. Visitation will be held at noon Friday (Nov. 15) at the Mount Hope Assembly of God Church on Penn Lane in Wickenburg. Funeral services will be held at a later date at The Chapel Cemetery in Syracuse, Ind. Owens Funeral Home in Syracuse is handling the arrangements.
