Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona Frances Elizabeth Bennier May 5, 1918 ~ November 5, 2013 Frances Elizabeth Bennier died November 5, 2013 at the Marley House in Prescott, AZ. She was born May 5, 1918 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of George E. and Fanny (Oeschler) Howard. Frances was 95 year old. Frances was a benefactor to many people as a volunteer at YRMC and especially to students in the secondary educational program at Cal State Universiy in Long Beach when she was the secretary for the department. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and for many years with Waldo prayed in the Adoration Chapel from 2 to 3 a.m. Frances is survived by Waldo, her husband of 44 years; sons Al (Janice) Verdun of Placentia, CA, and Michael (Shelly) of Oregon, and step-son Barry (Janet) Bennier of Georgia. Visitation: 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home 303 S. Cortez St. Prescott AZ 86303. Rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Service: 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 150 Fleury St. Prescott Arizona will be the Celebration of Life Mass. Cemetery: The final commendation will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, November 15 at the All Souls Cemetery Long Beach 4400 Cherry Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90807.
