DRESHER, Charlotte

(Maiden Name: Morton)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 Charlotte Morton Dresher, 75, passed away on Oct. 31, 2013. She was born on Aug. 23, 1938, in Norcross, Ga. Charlotte married Dale Dresher in 1969 in Imperial Valley, Calif., where they raised two children and lived until 2002 when they moved to Prescott Valley, Ariz., for the retirement life. Charlotte worked for the telephone company for 19 years in customer service. There she met many of her friends who were like family to her. In Prescott Valley, Charlotte attended the First Church of the Nazarene of Prescott and was involved with the Granite Mountain Questers and a member of Republican Women. Charlotte wrote and called the presidents and representatives often to attempt to keep them in line and protect our rights and country. Charlotte loved our Heavenly Father, her husband, children and grandchildren and extended family. She loved her close friends as family and she never met a stranger. She also loved shopping and was very good at it. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dale; son Jack; daughter Wendy and son-in-law Jason; and grandchildren Jordyn and Justin Wilson. She is also survived by her brother, J.R. Morton (Laura) of Georgia; and her nieces, nephew; and many great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her cousin Joanne of Georgia who was like a sister to her. Charlotte will be missed greatly, but we are comforted that she will be with her Heavenly Father. A celebration of Charlotte's life will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Valley Christian, 431 W. Wall Road, Imperial, Calif., with a reception immediately following service. In lieu of flowers, Charlotte's family invites donations in her name to American Cancer Society, Great West Division, 403 N. Agassiz St., Ste. 1, Flagstaff, AZ 86001 or the Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.) Society. Information provided by survivors
