Amy moved to Az when she was 14 from Indiana. She resided in Payson for over 30 years.
Amy was artistic and could make jewelry, ceramics, oil paintings and many other creative arts.
She was a fabulous cook and loved to entertain friends and family with her delicious meals.
She operated her own business a cleaning service in Payson.
Although she had many illnesses throughout the years her death was sudden and unexpected after a minor proceedure at a hospital last week.
She is survived by her partner for over 20 years Jeff Smith, her son Daniel Lee (Cherri) daughter Heidi Scarbrough six grand children and one great grand child. Her siblings Steve Hopper, Jerry Hopper, and Becky Watson.
A celebration of Amy's life will be held in Payson this Saturday November 23. 2013 at the Journiagan House 202 W Main St from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Amy Hopper Bell passed away Saturday Nov. 16 in Phoenix.
Her passing was unexpected after a minor procedure at a Phoenix Hospital.
She was born in Bedford, Ind., July 7, 1947. She resided in Indiana until she was 14, when her family moved to Arizona.
She attended grade school in Morristown and high school in Wickenburg.
Amy moved to Payson in 1980 where she resided until her death.
Amy was a creative, artistic individual. She created oil paintings, jewelry, ceramics and many other creative arts.
She was a marvelous cook and loved to entertain her family and friends with delicious meals. Candy making was a specialty and a favorite for everyone at Christmas time.
Amy operated her own cleaning business in Payson for the last several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Mary Hopper.
She is survived by her partner and best friend of 18 years, Jeff Smith; children Daniel Lee (Cherri) of Litchfield Park and Heidi Lee of Scottsdale; siblings Steve Hopper, Jerry Hopper, and Becky Watson; grandchildren Daniel Lee, Matthew Lee, Stephen Lee, Alana Lee, Brett Becker, and Boe Scarbrough; great-grandchild Skilee Becker; six nieces and nephews; and many many friends.
A celebration of Amy’s life was held Saturday Nov. 23 in Payson.
