Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Loretto P. Jacquez (January 4, 1930 - November 17, 2013) Loretto P. Jacquez was born in Los Angeles, California on January 4, 1930, and went to join our Lord November 17, 2013. She was married February 19, 1949 to Alex Jacquez. She worked as a cashier at Babbitt’s Grocery Store, as a waitress at La Casita, for meals-on-wheels and at a children’s daycare. She also was a homemaker. Loretto was preceded in death by her mother Lenor Ortiz, her husband Alex, her brother David and her sister Eldimira Findlay. She is survived by her children: Tony (Dolores) of Flagstaff; Paul, of Flagstaff; Vangie, of Mesa; her sisters Alice O’Campo, of Los Angeles; and Lucy “Moe” Arredondo, of Tempe; her granddaughter Anita (Dave) Henderson of Tucson; and her great- grandson Alex Henderson. Loretto loved Mexican music, watching novellas and going to the casino. Most of all, she loved her only granddaughter (grandson) and especially her great-grandson. Holy Rosary will take place Friday, November 22, 2013, at 9:00, followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am, both at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 224 S. Kendrick, Flagstaff, Arizona. Burial will follow in Citizens’ Cemetery.
