UNGERSON, Jonathan

April 21, 1963 - November 16, 2006 It is with profound sadness and cherished memories that we announce the sudden passing of Jonathan Ungerson on November 16, 2006, during his weekly game of baseball at Horizon Park, Scottsdale, Arizona. At 43, Jonathan left the beauty and potential of this world far too young and will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Hallie Elizabeth, who has been his pride and joy, her mother Leslie, parents Margaret and Daniel, sister Karen (Tom), brother Michael (Micheline), brother in-law Marcel, his incredible colleagues and friends who were his Arizona family and an abundance of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends, both north and south of the border. Jonathan was a devoted, nurturing father and family man - sharing his unique brand of wisdom and beliefs with his daughter, his sense of humour with all who touched his life, and his dreams and fears with those who were close to him. As an entrepreneur and business owner, Jonathan took risks and parlayed opportunity wherever possible - showing courage and inspiration when times got tough; he was kind, gentle and consistent at home - immersed in wonderful days with his beloved daughter Hallie and Sheba, his much loved and loyal dog; he was committed to his family and friends and delighted in the friendly competition of the many sports that gave him joy. The family wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to all who knew Jonathan and supported him in his day-to-day and especially to those who were with him on the night of his passing. A joyful celebration of his life was held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2006 at the Scottsdale (Starfire) Golf & Country Club, 11500 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (http://www.heartandstroke.ca) or your local children's hospital would be appreciated. Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
