The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona, Wednesday, January 24, 1979 ORLEAN DICK Services for Orlean May Dick, 83, were Jan 19 at the Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. Mrs. Dick died Jan. 16 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Cottonwood. She was a homemaker who lived in Clarkdale 15 years. Mrs. Dick came to Arizona in 1942 from Colorado. She was born Aug. 23, 1895 in Laclead, MO. Survivors include two daughters, Dorthie Ewing and Doris Shoulhoub, both of Cottonwood; two sons, George Black of Phoenix and Jim Dick of California, a brother in Washington, 11 grandchildren and several great and great- great grandchildren. Carlson sometime around 1913. They had children Dorthie Matilda Carlson, Paul E. Carlson and Lily May Carlson. She then married Charles F Black and they had children Doris Catherine, George Raymond, Charles F and Earl E Black. She was also married James Albert Dick and they had son Jim Dick.
