STUCKY, Darrell D.


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11/26/2013 Darrell D. Stucky passed from this life into the presence of God Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. He was born March 16, 1937, in rural Reno County, Kan., the son of Leo and Matilda Kaufman Stucky. As a teenager, Darrell accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was baptized and became a member of the First Mennonite Church in Pretty Prairie, Kan. Darrell attended the Crestview Bible Church for many years. When he moved to Apache County, he joined the Nutrioso Bible Church, where he attended until his passing. Darrell is survived by three sons: David of Springerville; Daniel of Birmingham, Ala., and Michael of Hutchinson, Kan.; grandchildren: Sarah Stucky and Shelby Stucky of Hutchinson, Kan., and Stephen Stucky of Birmingham, Ala. The Stucky family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, telephone calls, cards, flowers and other kindnesses.
