Mary Elizabeth Stults Petersen left this earth for her eternal home in heaven on Nov. 21, 2013. Mrs. Petersen was born Oct. 24, 1919 in Webb City, Mo. to Leslie and Agnes Stults. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Hakon V. "Pete" Petersen in 1992. Also preceding her in death are three brothers, James, Richard and Robert Stults. 

Mary is survived by four children, Philip Petersen, Karen Fizzell, Kristin Walker and Sara Gardner. Mrs. Petersen also has 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. 

The family will have a private celebration of life.
