HANSON, Mary

Our beloved Mary Hanson was suddenly taken from us on Monday, January 23, 2006. She was born January 23, 1948 in Tucson, AZ. In 1967 she met her soul mate, Frederick Hanson. They were married at the Newman Chapel at U of A on December 21, 1968. Mary will be watching over her beloved husband, Fred, and children: Alexander William (Denise) Hanson, of Phoenix; Lisa Catherine (Timothy) Morris, of Lincoln, NE; her precious grandchildren Emily, Kurt, Sean and Frederick; a loving sister Diane and her husband Joe; their two children Julie and Sabrina and countless friends and family. She joins her Mother (Evangeline Urrutia) and Father (Capt. Alexander Beck Padilla) and her Mother-in-law, Margaret Hanson in heaven. Mary began teaching in 1985, her teaching career spanned 19 years in the Peoria Unified school district. Teaching was Mary's passion and love. She loved to teach "her bananas", as she called them ("once a banana, always a banana"). Mary was one of those unique people who come into our lives and leave their mark on our hearts and we are all changed for the better. She will be missed by so many, but we are so grateful we were part of this incredible woman's life. Visitation at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W.
