Fritz, aged 52 years, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, died in this city Thursday last, after a sickness of over a year, which did not become serious until a short time before his death. For a long time he was employed as a jeweler in the Linn jewelry store, of this city. Later he devoted his time to working his placer and quartz mining claims in Hassayampa mining district. He was in all respects a gentleman. His sister, Mrs. Joseph Patterson, is a resident of Moscow, Ohio. ----------------------------------- Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, August 9, 1911, page 7, column 4 Pioneer Jeweler Dies (From Saturday's Daily) H. F. Fritz, for many years a resident of this county, and a watchmaker and jeweler by occupation, passed away yesterday at the hospital after a brief illness, due to complications of diseases. He was a native of Germany and 58 years old. He was a skilled workman, and was popular with all. He will be buried from the Ruffner chapel today. Transcriber's note: Burial is at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona and there is no headstone marking Mr. Fritz's burial location.
