Black’s Show Low Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Hope Taylor (January 15, 1929 - November 21, 2013) Hope Taylor, 85, passed away on November 21, 2013 in Snowflake, Arizona. She was born on January 15, 1929 in Phoenix, Arizona. Hope was a member of Pima Street Baptist Church for over 15 years and she was very involved with their youth groups. Hope and her Husband P.J. opened and operated a small roofing company in Tucson for about 16 years, with the help of their children. She moved to Show Low in 1986. In 1992 she left her husband of 42 years to venture into other things, such as taking computer classes at NPC and then moving on to volunteering at Navoapache Hospital. When that was enough, she moved on to open a small business of making homemade oatmeal lotion called Lotio for approximately 3 years. She was involved in her Grandsons Tae Kwan Do club, where she was very active in raising funds for new equipment. When she tired of that she got into drawing. She made very beautiful flowers of varying types and colors. Was a one of a kind very special lady and will be forever loved and remembered. Hope is survived by 4 children; Sons – Bud, Monte and Wayne Taylor and Daughter Teresa Sherwood, 3 Brothers, 7 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services were held on November 30, 2013 at Black’s Show Low Mortuary. Interment was at Show Low Cemetery.
