The Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, September 27, 1907, page 1, column 2 Local News - At Harrington Wednesday afternoon last, two boxes of dynamite stored in the cabin of John Thomas exploded; the cabin was blown to pieces and Thomas was instantly killed. Deceased was 70 years of age and a prospector by occupation. The remains were brought in yesterday and now lie at Ruffner's undertaking parlors. The body was badly mutilated by the force of the explosion.
