Yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock A. E. Pitkin died in the hospital
in this city. The immediate cause of death was general debility,
from which he had been a sufferer since last March, when he was
admitted to the institution.
The deceased was a native of Woodstock, New York, and had been a
resident of this territory for a number of years. He was a millman
and engineer by occupation.
The remains were taken in charge by the Ruffner undertaking
establishment, from whence the funeral will take place at 3 o’clock
this afternoon, interment to be made in the Citizens’ cemetery.
