HAWK, Harold L.

Harold L. Hawk, 88, Youngtown and former Goodyear resident, passed away March 4, 2004. 

He was born Oct. 29, 1915, Monroe County, Iowa, but was an Arizona resident for more than 41 years. 

He held various positions in the Avondale School District, retiring as Superintendent of Buildings, Grounds and Transportation in 1978. 

He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Followwill), Youngtown; three daughters, Jeanne (Ronald) Robertson, Plano, Iowa, Joanne (Robert) Garnett, Gettysburg, Penn., and Colleen Hawk, Peoria, Ariz., nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Visitation at Best Mortuary, 9380 W. Peoria Ave. Memorial service was  Tues., March 9, 2004, at Youngtown United Methodist Church, 113th Ave. and Alabama, Youngtown. The family requests memorial contributions to the Youngtown United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, 85363.
