She was born March 12, 2006, the daughter of Tonita Fernando and Seth Martinez. A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 4 at 10 AM in the Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood. She was born on March 12, 2006 in Cottonwood, AZ to Seth Martinez and Tonita Fernando. Amaris attended Camp Verde Elementary School. Amaris had a creative mind. She loved to draw and paint and color in her coloring books. She enjoyed playing with My Little Pony. She loved scary movies and spending time with her family. She spent her last year and a half suffering from leukemia, but she was a fighter, and she fought until the end. Amaris was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Florence Engle, and her grandmother, Tanya Manakaja. She is survived by her parents, Seth Martinez and Tonita Fernando; her brothers, Tim Martinez and Chris Martinez; her sisters, Venessa Martinez, Elizabeth Martinez, Adela Mendez, Araceli Mendez and Liliana Fernando. A visitation and funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at Westcott Funeral Home.
