Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Rita Dominguez Burrell April 11, 1936 - December 1, 2013 Rita Burrell, age 77, of Safford entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, December 1, 2013, at her residence with her loving family at her bedside. A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita will be celebrated Friday morning, December 6, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, by Rev. Robert Rodriguez. Committal will follow in the Safford Cemetery. A rosary and prayer vigil will be led by Rev. Robert Rodriguez Thursday evening, December 5, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Rita leaves to mourn: her two sons, Gilbert Burrell and Pete Burrell III (Lupita); her two daughters, Elvira Talavera (Laurence) and Rose Mary Burrell; and her five grandchildren.
