Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, July 9, 1906, page 3, col. 3 Local News - Saturday evening last, in this city, was held in the undertaking parlors of H. M. Maus & company the funeral of the late Irma Vivian Childers, 22 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Childers, of McCabe. Burial was had in Citizen's cemetery. The child died last Friday. Many friends came in to attend the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Childers (From Sunday's Daily) Yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock the funeral of the late Irma Vivian Childers, the 22 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Childers of McCabe, took place from the undertaking parlors of H. M. Maus & Co., interment taking place in the Citizens' cemetery. The deceased, who was the only child of her parents, succumbed to a short illness on Friday afternoon at 12:44 o'clock at the family residence in McCabe. A large funeral procession followed the remains to the grave, a large number of friends and relatives coming here from McCabe and Big Bug. Roman Catholic services were held over the remains at the undertaking parlors and at the grave. The parents of the little one have the sympathy of a large circle of friends and acquaintances in their irreparable loss.
