Lawrence "Larry" Presser
1951 - 2013
It is too hard to write a tribute to someone whose personality was bigger than life and leaves a large hole in our hearts.
Larry was, in his own words, "a good guy". He was proud to be a Journeyman tool and die maker at Sargent Controls and Aerospace. he could do math in his head faster than a calculator!
He was Vice-President of his homeowners association and was known for his fair and honest opinions and his quick wit. He loved animals, especially his dog.
Larry was a talented woodworker. On his days off from work his friends in the neighborhood could always find him in his garage. He would either be making beautiful pens, bowls or other items or he'd be refinishing furniture.
Larry was often asked to refurbish a wooden heirloom belonging to a friend or acquaintance.
Larry is loved by his wife, his daughter and her family, his brother and sister-in-law and their families, his step-sons, grandchildren, cousins and many more.
All those who knew him loved him.
Those that loved him will carry a piece of that huge personality with them always. Because love never dies.
Rest in peace, dear one.
You are loved.
A funeral mass will be held 9:00 am Thursday December 5, 2013 at St. Odilia Catholic Church, Tucson.
