The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/06/2013 T.J. Griffin passed on to the big fishing hole in the sky Nov. 28, 2013. He was born Feb. 5, 1936. In his last days, he could not talk much, but he made the motion of casting and reeling in, to tell us he wanted to go fishing. “We cry at saying goodbye, we know his pain is no more, it is easier to just say, ‘Dad’s gone fishing.’” He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Griffin. His children: Ted Griffin, Tammy Fluharty, Leisa Roush, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and loving wife Melvina Griffin, with love, wish him good luck and hope he catches a big one.
