Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Cindy Marie Dowd (March 16, 1957 - December 3, 2013) Cindy Marie Dowd, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in her home in Flagstaff. Cindy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Harold L. Dowd Jr.; her two daughters Darcy (Mike) Bates, and Julie (Lagrande) Smith; and two grandchildren Kylie and Kolbie Bates. Also siblings Mary (Rudy) Karlovits, John Cook, George (Nirvana) Cook, and Sue Wright. Service will be held at San Francisco de Asis Church, 1600 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, Arizona, on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 am . A viewing and Rosary will take place at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 6, 2013, also at San Francisco de Asis Church. Throughout the years of teaching at Sunnyside Montessori, Cindy touched the lives of so many families and children. Cindy’s love, patience and guidance will continue to be felt in the hearts of all. You will be forever missed.
