Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Delphine V Andersen November 19, 1945 - November 28, 2013 Delphine V. Andersen, 68, of Oro Valley passed away November 28, 2013. Delphine is survived by her loving husband of 43 years John Andersen, her mother Estelle Lipa, sisters Barbara Hushmidt and Corinne (James) Drew, niece Dawn Wilmsen, nephews Christopher Andersen, Timothy Andersen, and James Drew, cousins Nancy, Cindy, Janet, Roy, Robert and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Joseph Lipa, and brothers-in-law; Robert Hushmidt, William Andersen, and Robert Andersen. Delphine worked at American Airlines for 22 years as a ticket agent at various locations throughout the years in Chicago, the Palmer House, Marriott and Drake Hotels, the Prudential Building, Insurance Exchange, O’Hare and also Savannah, GA Airports. Delphine and John enjoyed golfing and being part of Hilton Head Country Club in SC, Lake Shore Country Club in Erie PA, Medinah Country Club in Chicago IL, and Hilton El Conquistador Country Club in Tucson AZ. She received her one and only hole-in-one at the Medinah Country Club on June 16, 1985. Delphine had a passion for cooking, especially French and Asian cuisine and loved hosting dinner parties for her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling with John and have traveled the world visiting Ireland, Tahiti, Russia, Turkey, Czechoslovakia , Egypt, India, China, France, and Italy to name a few places. A visitation will be held at Vistoso Funeral Home on December 11, 2013 from 2-5pm. A memorial Service will be held at St. Elisabeth Ann Seaton on December 12, 2013 at 11am.
