BAKER, William D. (Bill)

Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona William D. Baker (January 5, 1934 - December 3, 2013) William D. Baker, 79, passed away peacefully December 3, 2013, in Snowflake, Arizona. William was born January 1, 1934 to parent William Waco Baker and Isabel Mae Brewer. Bills hobby, his passion, was horses and rodeo. For a living, he drove trucks most of his life. Other drivers will tell you, “He was the best! A perfectionist!” Bill was a hard worker, dependable, considerate, and honest. He could converse intelligently on any topic. He was a creative thinker and we all enjoyed his hilarious dry humor. But mostly, Bill had compassion toward all. He was loved so much, by so many. Bill is survived by his sister Patricia Ruth Baker McBride (Clyde); brother Robert Dean Baker; children John Baker (Brooke), Brandy Muhich (Thomas), Jennifer Biegler (Patrick), and David Baker (Suzy); seven grandchildren; and great-grandchildren Joshua Baker, Eden Harmon and “a bun in the oven” due in April. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and sister Virginia May Baker. A memorial for Bill will be held Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 in Show Low.
