Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, April 30, 1906, page 3, col. 2 Local News - Died - Daniel Keohane, brother of Judge Keohane, passed away Sunday at 3 o'clock at the Mercy Hospital after a lingering illness. Mr. Keohane was a young man of 23 years. He resided in Jerome for about three years, where he has many friends. The funeral will take place from the residence of his brother, Judge Keohane under the direction of Undertaker Nevin. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend. ----------------------------------- Prescott Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Tuesday Morning, May 1, 1906, page 4, col. 2 Death of Daniel Keohane Respected Citizen of Jerome Passes Away In The Hospital Daniel Keohane, who entered the Mercy hospital on Friday last to submit to any operation, died there on Sunday last about noon. The deceased was a native of Cork, Ireland, about 23 years of age, and had been a resident of this territory for the past five years. He leaves to survive him in this city his brother, P. J. Keohane, justice of the peace, besides his father, mother, two brothers and one sister in Ireland, and another brother in New York city and a sister in Philadelphia. A large delegation of friends and acquaintances arrived here last evening from Jerome to pay their last respects, which is proof of the high esteem he was held in that community, where he had resided but a short time. The funeral will take place this morning at 10:30 under the direction of the F. F. Nevin undertaking parlors from the Catholic church, where services will be held and the interment will be had in the Citizen's cemetery.
