DEWITT, Timothy (Tim) Brian

Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Timothy DeWitt December 05, 1954 - December 05, 2013 Timothy Brian DeWitt was born Dec. 5, 1954 and passed away on his 59th birthday, Dec. 5, 2013. Tim was the third child born to Alex Carlyle DeWitt and Carol Fay Miller DeWitt, In Holbrook, AZ. He graduated from Holbrook High School in 1972; he was a varsity letterman in baseball, a sport that was a lifetime love. In 1972 Tim married Jamie Jo McKinney DeWitt, his best friend and eternal companion. Tim enjoyed work and was grateful for every opportunity that came his way. Tim worked hard serving others. He loved serving his friends, the youth, his community, his church and the Savior, Jesus Christ. The titles that meant the most to Tim were those of Son, Brother, Husband, Dad, Papa Tim, Bishop Tim and friend. His greatest wealth was his children; Brian and Jennifer DeWitt, Corrie and Greg Green, Jesse and Robin DeWitt along with his twelve grandkids; Caleb, Seth, Ethan, Emma, Megan, Rory, Bailey, Kyle, Shelby, Dylan, Joshua and Bennett. He is also Survived by his mother Carol; brothers, Larry and Gabriela DeWitt, Mike and Joann DeWitt; sisters, Cindy Gregov, Lana and Roby Rogers, Becky and Paul Coronado. Funeral Service for Timothy Brian DeWitt will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Winslow Stake Center. Interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery.
