Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Thursday, December 12, 2013 Lawrence Garcia, 45, passed away December 6, 2013 at his home in Flagstaff. A Memorial Mass will be held, 10 am, Friday, December 13, 2013 at the San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church 1600 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ. Lawrence was born December 14, 1967 in Kearney, Arizona. He and his family moved to Flagstaff in 1973. He attended Weitzel Elementary School, EFJHS and Coconino High School where he excelled in wrestling and baseball. He attended NAU where he received his degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. He moved to Chandler where he worked for PepsiCo. for several years. He then went to work for Earnhardt and several other dealerships in the Valley. In 2009 Alana, his pride and joy was born. When he became ill, he returned to Flagstaff to be closer to his family. Lawrence was always quick with his magnetic smile and touched so many lives in his short time with us. His friends were so important to him and he managed to stay in touch with many of them. He is survived by his daughter, Alana, mother Maggie, brother Dan Garcia (Jerri), sisters, Sylvia Sedillo, and Geri Anderson (Bob), nephews Robert (Ali), Eric (Danielle), Stephen, Jake, Nate, niece Robin and one great-nephew, Reid. He was preceded in death by his father Lorenzo Garcia. He will be deeply missed by his countless friends and family. Be at peace Lawrence, You are so loved!
