LUBICICH, Rose

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, December 15, 2013 Rose Lubicich, 92, died Nov. 17, 2013, at her home in Texas. She was born Jan. 29, 1921, in Yugoslavia. Her husband John preceded her in death in 1978. He was an Arizona Highway patrol officer. Rose had been a very active member of the Smoki People and was past Head Squaw. She also was a member of the Elks Ladies and the Yavapai Country Jeep Posse. She is survived by her daughter Mary Rose Stevens; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A graveside committal service will be 1 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013, at the Mountain View Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials be made to a hospice organization in her name.
