Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, November 13, 2013 - Charles Edward McNamee passed away Nov. 9, 2013 in Kingman. A memorial service will take place today, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m., at the American Legion Post 22 in Golden Valley. Charles was born in Youngstown, Ohio, July 25, 1941 to the late George and Dorothy McNamee. “Mac” was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and Disabled Veterans of America. He served as Canteen Manager for the VFW in Lake Havasu City and Bar Manager at the Legion in Golden Valley. He is survived by his wife, Paulette; daughter, Denise (Bryce) Quilter, of Bountiful, Utah; son, Charles Edward Basil (Jennifer) McNamee, of Salt Lake City; son, Daniel Joseph (Missy) McNamee of Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, James William McNamee, of Fayetteville, Pa. and sister, Dorothy Pope, of Springdale, Ark. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert George McNamee and Thomas Eugene McNamee.
