Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ- Posted: Friday, November 15, 2013 >>> July 25, 1930 — Nov. 6, 2013 <<< Jerrold Allan Bartz Sr. passed away peacefully at age 83, Nov. 6 at 12:15 p.m. at Lake Hills Inn on Osburn Dr. in Lake Havasu City. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce H. Bartz; sons, Jerrold Allan Bartz, Jr., Timothy John Bartz, Sr., Christopher Jay Bartz and David Lamont who were his loving sons; also his grandsons, Timothy John Bartz Jr., Jayden Christopher Bartz; granddaughter, Tyler Dae Borders and great grandchildren, Sophia Rachael and Emma Katharine Bartz. He was an avid fisherman and took part in many bass tournaments throughout the country. He was Lake Havasu City’s first gun safety instructor and also helped to teach children how to fish through the Bass Club. He was also in past years, a sportsman and a life member in the Havasu Sportsman Club and he also took part in creating and establishing S.A.R.A. Park, Havasu’s premium recreational park. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He will be sadly missed by all.
