Louise Armstrong passed away Nov. 17, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 88. She was born July 8, 1925, to Robert Shelton Jones and Lula Irene (Prather).
Louise was a diehard Texan; she was into their State Politics, co-founder of Boys & Girls Club of Odessa; she was active in Community Services, and President of City Council in Odessa, Texas. She loved tending to her roses, loved her cats and she was always happy. Arizona has been her home for the last eight years.
Louise is survived by her sons, Kerry Armstrong (Sandy) of Ft. Worth, Texas and Ronnie Armstrong (Terry) of Parker, Colo.; daughter, Sylvia Clark (Don) of Lake Havasu City; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Services will take place at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Nov. 26, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Chad Garrison offering words of comfort.
