Robert W. Ingham, 82, passed away Dec. 8, 2013 peacefully at his home in Lake Havasu City. He was born Dec. 27, 1930 in Niagara Falls, N.Y. to Leonard and Mary (Shields) Ingham.
Robert graduated from Syracuse University and had a lifetime career in lumber and plywood sales and management. This included territories in the Rochester, N.Y. area as well as Connecticut and New England. He married his wife, Patricia “Patty” Anne, Oct. 3, 1953 in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
Robert and Patty moved to Lake Havasu City 17 years ago, coming from Granby, Conn., where they resided for 21 years. Robert was a Cub Scout Pack Master and an active member of the ELKS, the New Yorkers of Havasu Club and an usher at the 8:30 Mass at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church. Robert was always involved in family, church and community and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Patty Ingham, of Lake Havasu City; son, Marty, of Columbia Falls, Mont.; daughter, Martha, of Tucson; brother, John (Henrietta) Ingham, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; grandchildren, Patrick and Timothy, of Columbia Falls, Mont.; sister-in-law, Ruth, of Black Butte, Ore.,; 10 nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leonard Ingham.
A Memorial mass will be at 12:30p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Chauncey Winkler officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Church Hall. Burial will take place in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Robert’s name to Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church Building Fund.
