ZEIGLER, Donald Edward (Don)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, December 17, 2013 Donald Edward Zeigler, 71, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born Jan. 25, 1942 in Butler, Pa., went to his heavenly home on Dec. 6, 2013. Don moved to Southern California as a teenager and entered into the Navy in 1960, proudly serving his country until 1962. Don worked for a large utility company for 30 years, retiring to Prescott Valley, Ariz. in 1994. Don's first love was his family. He also enjoyed participating in Living History events and was privileged to support local Veteran organizations and serve as a hospice volunteer. Don is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon Zeigler of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; three sons, Jeff Zeigler of Palm Springs, Calif., Craig Zeigler of Cathedral City, Calif. and Scott Zeigler of Cathedral City, Calif.; two daughters, Shannon Johns of Prescott, Ariz. and Deborah Lindquist of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; and nine grandchildren. The celebration of life will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at Prescott Valley Christian Church. A reception will follow at the Zeigler home, 7874 Marigold Lane, Prescott Valley, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Veterans Administration. Information provided by survivors.
