MARTIN, Harold Leland

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Tuesday, December 17, 2013 Harold Leland Martin was born November 1916 and peacefully passed away December 6, 2013. Harold will be joining the love of his life, (Anna) Louise Martin, whom he was married to for nearly 60 yrs. Harold served his country in World War II before returning to Arizona where he went to work at Williams Air Force Base in Phoenix as an aircraft mechanic for many years. Harold finished his career working at Turf Paradise managing the parking concession. Harold and Louise lived in Camp Verde, AZ for 25 years before moving to Cottonwood. He is survived by his daughter Donna Wall of Clarkdale, Terri (Marty) Major of Denver, CO and Gary Martin of Buckeye, AZ. He was an amazing grandfather to 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Donations can be made to the Hospice of the Pines.
