The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, December 19, 2013 Dymond W. Woodward, 84, of Prescott, Ariz., beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2013 in Prescott, Ariz., with his wife Audrey and his children by his side. Dymond was born in Oklahoma but moved to Phoenix, Ariz. when he was very young. He raised his family and worked as the leading Ready-mix sales rep in Arizona for many years. He retired and moved to Prescott in mid-90s where he made many friends who loved and respected him. His life-long hobby was golf, and he also enjoyed dancing with Audrey and friends at various locations in Prescott, and team roping with his ranching friends. Dymond is preceded in death by his parents, JD and Dovie Woodward; sisters Betty Pock and Pat Stone; and brother Bruce Woodward. He is survived by his wife Audrey; children Mark (Amy) Woodward, Belinda (Paul) Groves, Gale (Doug) George; grandchildren Joshua Groves, Jacob (Desiree) Groves, Paige (Omar) George, Christian George, J D George, Matthew (Jamie) Woodward, Erin (Cody) Swirczynski; great grandchildren Payton George, Megan Campbell, Trent Woodward, Raymie and Owen Swirczynski. There will be a private celebration of Dymond's life for family and close friends in Prescott, Ariz. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Dymond's memory to the Good Samaritan Society Marley House, 1011 Ruth St., Prescott, AZ 86301. Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary.
