WALSH, Shiela F.

Mohave Valley Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Dec. 22 to Dec. 29, 2013 - Shiela F. Walsh, age 82, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nev. She was not able to recover from a Subarachnoid hemorrhage. Shiela was born in Bar Harbor, Maine on August, 6, 1931 to Elmer and Lillian Brenton. She was the 10th child in a large family...she had seven brothers, five served in WWII while her parents worked in the Boston Shipyard. Her family served in all wars back to the Colonial War for Independence. On October 15, 1953 she married Arthur J. Walsh in San Antonio, Texas. They were married 60 years when she died. Shiela was preceded in death by both sets of parents and six brothers. She is survived by her husband, Arthur (Colonel USAF Ret); four daughters; one son; ten grandchildren, (five girls and five boys); and also many nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held later for family and friends. Shiela was cremated and is waiting to be buried in a National Cemetery.
