LUNSFORD, Kathleen Ann

Kathleen Ann Lunsford, On March 3, 2004, the angels arrived in Los Angeles and carried Kathleen Ann Lunsford up to join our heavenly father. Born October 23, 1957, Kathy left us way too early, but she's finally at peace. She had been ill off and on for several years. A graduate of GateWay Community College, Kathy was very proud of her career change to become a certified respiratory therapist. She was most proud of being selected by St. Joseph's Hospital as a special team member to care for the Queen of Saudi Arabia, and of her hospital work with children. Kathy will be greatly missed by her daughter, Celena Quist of Las Vegas, parents K.W. "Bill" and Barbara Lunsford and brother Jack Lunsford (Anna) of Phoenix, and brother James Lunsford (Debbie) of Chicago, Ill. She cared greatly for her nieces, Amber Lunsford Botamer (Charles), and Erin and Kelsey, and her nephew, Ben. Kathy was predeceased by her grandparents William and Josephine Lunsford and John J. and Gladys Wiggett. Visitation Sunday, March 7, 2004 at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale. A celebration of life was held Monday, March 8, 2004, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 6300 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, with interment immediately following at Green Acres. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to GateWay Community College, St. Joseph's Hospital, or a charity of choice. Arrangements by Green Acres Mortuary.
