James J. O'Brien, 79, of Scottsdale, died March 5, 2004.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Arizona 23 years ago from Livonia, Michigan.
Mr. O'Brien was a veteran of the WWII Army and was a retired Business Manager of Pioneer Ford.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie J. O'Brien, daughter Kathy Anne Cartell; James J. O'Brien, Jr. and Stephen M. O'Brien; brother, Anthony A. O'Brien and seven grandchildren: Nicholas & Bryan Cartell, Molly, Katie, Colleen, Jessica and Natalie O'Brien.
Visitation Monday, March 8, 2004 with a Rosary at Messinger Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School, Scottsdale and a Funeral Mass Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at St. Bernadette, 16245 N. 6oth St., Scottsdale. AZ Interment at St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., Mary Ann Sprinkle, Director of Development, 1501 N.W. 9th Avenue/Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33136-1494, American Heart Association, 1280 S. Parker Road, Denver, CO 80231-2100, or St. Bernadette's Building Fund.
