Evelyn G. Nighswonger, 90, beloved wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother went to our Lord on Thursday, May 6, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Bill, Harvey, Alan, and Jane; grandchildren, Vicki (Aaron), Nancy, William, Sissie, Rainy, Happy, Dusty, and Shana; great-grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Joseph, Donald, Mikala, Averey, Dexter, Madelyn, her aunt Martha, and numerous friends. Evie was an incredible woman who touched many lives. She was one of 4 children born to Luke and Edna Curtis in Great Falls, Montana. She was named Miss Seattle at age 18, and moved to Arizona in her 20's. She was a department store model, a world traveler, and owned a restaurant in Phoenix named "The Flame". Her favorite times were those spent with her family. Jim was her soulmate and they loved to entertain, garden and be together. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
