MESSER, Sue Mary

Sue Mary Messer passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, after a short illness. She was 63. She was born in Bell, Calif., on Dec. 15, 1941. She grew up in Bell and met Walter Messer when she was 14. They fell in love and were married on July 26, 1959. She worked throughout the years in a variety of positions, but mainly as a medical secretary. She moved to Kingman in 1997. During their 47-year marriage, Walt and Sue enjoyed each other's company. They traveled together and worked around their home. Sue loved camping and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Walt; daughter, Donna and husband Jim; son, Scott and wife Barbara; son, Gary and wife Lisa; six grandchildren, Sean and wife Liv, Craig, Bryan and wife Cydney, Brittney, Troy and Jennifer; one great-granddaughter, Isabelle; her brother, Dan; and sister, Judy. Life was precious to Sue and she embraced it until the very end. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. There will be no memorial ceremony. Our special thanks to everyone who offered prayers on her behalf and to The Gardens, which took wonderful care of her during her final days. Kingman Daily Miner 1/27/2006
