He was born December 4, 1934 in Sterling, Illinois to John Sylvester Anderson and Dorothy Mae Penny Anderson. He is survived by his 3 sons: Cory Jackson, Lincoln Jackson and Steven Jackson. A sister: Cynthia Windle. No public services are scheduled at this time. He was born Dec. 4, 1934, in Sterling, Ill. John was a 1952 graduate of Polo Community High School in Polo, Ill. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and worked as an engineer in the electronics field. He is survived by three sons: John Cordell Jackson (Lan) of Astoria, Ore., Steven Scott Jackson (Debi) of Knobnoster, Mo., Lincoln Lee Jackson (Tami) of Warrenton, Ore.; one sister, Cynthia L. Windle (Larry) of Loxley, Ala.; four grandsons: Eric Jackson of California; Brandon, Austin and Logan Jackson of Oregon; two granddaughters: Brittany Jackson of Florida, Alex Jackson of Texas; three step-grandchildren: Tony Thach-LA; D’ann Thach and Mimi Jackson of Oregon; and one nephew, Michael Windle of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Lorraine Anderson (1992), father John S. Anderson, mother Dorothy M. Penny Anderson, brother Arthur Joseph Anderson and nephew Arthur Lee Windle. Services were private following cremation. Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel of Show Low handled arrangements.
