Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Saturday, December 28, 2013 - Linda Kay Hasslen passed away Dec. 21, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 73. She was born June 22, 1940, in Glen Dale, W. Va. to her beloved late parents Clem W. Price and Vesta V. (Rice). Linda worked as a Registered Nurse at multiple facilities for 35 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading and politics and was a member at St. Michaels Methodist Church. Arizona has been her home for the last 10 years. Linda is survived by her son, Kevin (Jeanine) Hasslen of Damasus, Ore.; daughter, Melissa (Duque Upton) Meikle of Santa Cruz, Calif. and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Hasslen. Memorial Services will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Michael Bryant offering words of comfort. In lieu of flowers, a donation on Linda’s behalf can be made to Hospice of Havasu or The Lake Havasu Senior Center.
