Frances Gomez, 52, of Wellton, died Dec. 23, 2013, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

A teacher for the Wellton Elementary School District, she was born May 13, 1961, in Yuma.

A wake will held from 5-10 p.m. Sunday at St. Joesph's Church in Wellton, which will be the location of a Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be held at Wellton Memorial Cemetery.

Desert Valley Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
