Thelma L. (Walker) Vargas, age 74, a 12-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz. passed away on December 16, 2013 in Fort Mohave, Ariz. Thelma was born on January 18, 1939 in Dill City, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe N. Vargas.
Thelma is survived by her four children, Linda J. Martinez of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; Phillip N. Vargas of Bullhead City, Ariz.; Elizabeth M. Poor of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; and John A. Vargas of Needles, Calif.; sister, Bobbie Tyng of Pawhuska, Okla.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life and potluck will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Santiago Rodeo Villas Clubhouse, 2066 El Rodeo Rd., Fort Mohave, Ariz. For info contact Liz at (928)788-1953.
