Joseph Dugan (December 6, 1965 - December 23, 2013) Donald Joseph Dugan, "D.J." to everyone that knows and loves him, passed away on December 23, 2013. D.J. was born to Donald Wallace Dugan and Betty Jo Dugan on December 6, 1965. Born and raised in Flagstaff, DJ attended Flagstaff High School where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. D.J. was a graduate of the Class of 1983. He proudly served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division. D.J. took pride in his work as a carpenter, leaving his mark throughout many Flagstaff neighborhoods. D.J. was a lover of all things outdoors. His passions included fishing, hunting and camping – always with friends and family nearby. D.J. was attending N.A.U. in pursuit of a B.S. in Geography. D.J. was the proud father of three beautiful girls: Sarah Jean Marie Dugan-Gerrans (21), Madison Louise Dugan (7) and Sierra Lynne Dugan (5). Along with his three daughters, D.J. is survived by his wife Amy Dugan (Fahey), father Donald Dugan, brothers Michael and David Dugan, and sister Patricia “Pat” Nelson (Duane Nelson). D.J. also leaves behind a large extended family and many longtime friends. He was predeceased by his mother Betty Dugan and best friend Tom Moyzes. D.J. always had a smile for everyone and will be remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel located at 224 S. Kendrick Street, Flagstaff, Arizona 86001.
