JOHNSTON, Edward T.

Edward T. Johnston, 54, formerly with the Five Point Ice Co., died yesterday, Dec. 1, 1964, in Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Johnston, a resident of Culver City, Calif., the past four years, was injured in an auto accident Nov. 20, 1964, near Ajo. He owned the Pure Ice Co. in Culver City. In Phoenix he was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was born in Cole Creek, Washington. He lived in Phoenix 16 years. Services will be conducted tomorrow in A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary by the Rev. Don M. Rusk. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Nellie; a daughter, Jonell of Culver City; his mother, Mrs. David W. Johnston, Sr., and a sister, Mrs. Martha McConnell, both of Phoenix; and two brothers, David W., Jr. of Phoenix and Robert of Hermosillo, Sonora. The Arizona Republic Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1964
