Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Tuesday, July 21, 1904, page 3 A young man by the name of Peterson was killed by a cave in a stope, in the Henrietta mine of the Braganza Company, yesterday. His brother, Gus Peterson is a resident of this city. It is said to be the first fatality at that mine. Not only this, but the first facility at any property of which that veteran mine superintendent, P. A. Johns, has been in charge. ----------------- Weekly Arizona Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Saturday, July 23, 1904, page 3, column 4 The first accident of a serious nature to occur at the Henrietta mine happened there yesterday when a young man names Peterson had his life crushed out by a cave in of rocks. The body was brought to town today and buried in the Citizen's cemetery. Transcriber's note: No headstone has been found marking the exact location of Mr. Peterson's gravesite.
