AUNGST, Kathryn L.

Kathryn L. Aungst, 98, of the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville formerly of Arizona died Tuesday August 15, 2006 in the Home. She was the wife of the late Gilbert W. Aungst who died in 1960. Born in Annville on February 10, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Stober Aungst. She was an Elementary School Teacher for 34 years teaching for ten years in one room schools at Indiantown Gap and South Annville, and Quentin Elementary School, and for 24 years at the Milton Hershey School for Boys where she retired in 1973. She was a graduate of Annville High School and Millersville State Teachers College. Kathryn was a member of the Annville United Methodist Church and the Lakeview United Methodist Church in Sun City, Arizona where she was active in both churches as a Sunday School Teacher and Lay Worker. She is survived by two sons Randall Aungst of Clearwater, Fla. and Larry Aungst of Scottsdale, AZ. Eight Grandchildren and twenty-three Great Grandchildren. Interment in Mt. Annville Cemetery.
