Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, January 1, 2014 - Mary Ann Padilla passed away Dec. 28, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 79. She was born Sept. 16, 1934, in Detroit, Mich. Mary Ann worked in the retail industry as a secretary. She was involved at the Senior Center, Cert-Lulac and at St. Vincent De Paul. Arizona has been her residence for the last 22 years. Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ruben A. Padilla; sons, Ruben Anthony Padilla and John Padilla all of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Theresa Padilla of Long Beach, Calif., Elizabeth Bartolotto of Brea, Calif. and Esther Kerwin of Ontario, Calif.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Carmen Alamilo of Oakland, Calif.; brother-in-laws, Donald Padilla of Denver, Colo., Pat Padilla of Pomona, Calif., Harold Padilla of North Glen, Colo. and sister-in-law, Viola Gonzales of Denver, Colo. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carmen (Bosque) and John Guest; brother-in-laws, Orlando Padilla, Ernie Padilla and sister-in-law, Margaret Gonzales. A Visitation will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in the Chapel, Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 with Father Chauncey officiating.
